Slow Cooker Lentil Soup with Beef

Using prepared French onion soup as the base for this slow cooker recipe makes it as simple as it is satisfying!

Directions

Stir the soup, water, celery, carrots, lentils, tomatoes, thyme, garlic and beef in a 5-quart slow cooker. Season as desired.

Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours or until the beef is fork-tender.

Ingredients

3 cans (10 1/2 ounces each ) Campbell’s® Condensed French Onion Soup
1.333 cups (1 soup can) water
3 stalks celery, sliced (about 1 1/2 cups)
3 large carrot, sliced (about 1 1/2 cups)
1.5 cups dried lentils
1 can (about 14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 pounds beef for stew, cut into 1-inch pieces
