Caprese Toast
Traditional Italian Caprese salad takes a twist when served on toast. Fresh basil, creamy mozzarella, ripe juicy tomato…all of those wonderful flavors are in every delicious bite. The only thing better is pairing it with a hot bowl of soup.
Ingredients
1 slice Pepperidge Farm® Whole Grain 100% Whole Wheat Bread, toasted
2 slices fresh mozzarella cheese
2 thin tomato slice
1 tablespoon thinly sliced fresh basil leaves
0.25 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions
Layer the bread slice with the cheese and tomato. Top with the basil. Drizzle with the oil. Season to taste.
